  8. ty to decide. Once he was  a  cell  of
  9. millions. But he stood up and made his
  10. way  through   the   years   and   the
  11. problems, always on the egde to nonen-
  12. tity.  And  he  became a great warrior
  13. and superior to  nearly  all  kind  of
  14. lifeforms he met on his way to  divine
  15. kindness.  But suddenly he failed. Due
  16. any unknown reason he  stood  in  deep
  17. darkness    not   knowing   what   has
  18. happened. He seems to loose his faith.
  19. And again he has to decide.  What will
  20. be  his  choice  this  time?  Will  he
  21. struggle?  Or  will  he  be strong and
  22. survive? One more time...«»

  24. Once I had a dream.  A dream of an own
  25. mag.  Nearly the dream Zerox had since
  26. years. Not only since one and  a  half
  27. as me. I had to decided between trying
  28. to  make  my  own  dream come true and
  29. doing my part to make  a  scene`s  one
  30. becoming   reality.  And  this  choice
  31. wasn`t that hard to be made.  For  the
  32. ones  among  you  who  doesn`t know, I
  33. tried to release "Off World" since the
  34. beginning  of  1999  when  Phoenix  #3
  35. failed and the diskmag scene seemed to
  36. die more and more. And I really tried!
  37. With two groups and three coders,  but
  38. the engine is still not ready today. I
  39. already  got  the fourth title picture
  40. but my articles became  outdated  once
  41. again. By talking to Papa Ghandy I got
  42. to know that the rebirth  of  D.I.S.C.
  43. will  be  true  and  not another rumor
  44. only. So I directly wrote an e-mail to
  45. Zerox and before I could  take  breath
  46. again I got my own column.«»

  48. But why this damned depressive name???
  49. It will not take very long to explain:
  50. I  simply  felt  this  way  the   last
  51. months.  And  Zerox liked my intuitive
  52. selection for the  name.  Just take it
  53. as  my comeback from a bad but luckily
  54. short (1 year only) trip to real life.«»

  56. And what do you have to expect to read
  57. here? Well, I am a  swapper  and  made
  58. also some rather bad ascii-collections
  59. but mainly I am a writer, in real life
  60. too. Articles,  shortstories,  screen-
  61. plays (also for a lot of  demos  which
  62. didn`t come true) and even  poems  are
  63. my kind of art.
  64. At  last  I am a pessimist and now you
  65. can surely imagine what  you  will  be
  66. forced  to  read  in this small and in
  67. any   case   very   personal    column
  68. exclusively written for  D.I.S.C.  But
  69. maybe  you  are  wrong  and   I   will
  70. surprise you with something different.

  72. can  not give you the answer, you have
  73. to taste it by yourself. So do it.«»
